Supplier Diversity Program (SDP)

As a Massachusetts public agency, the BHA participates in the Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) which was founded by the Massachusetts Operational Services Division (OSD) to promote supplier diversity in public contracting. The program encourages the award of state contracts in a way that strengthens and increases business opportunities for a variety of disadvantaged businesses. The BHA participates in the SDP through its procurement process.

Minority-, Women-, Veteran-, LGBT-; and Disability-Owned Business Enterprises must be certified by the SDO or SDO-recognized third-party certification organizations to qualify for the program.

To learn more about the SDP and the certification process please visit the SDO website: https://www.mass.gov/supplier-diversity-office
